Not another generic brewpub
What makes BrewCo different is not one thing. It is the overlap: a historic northern brewing story, untreated local water, Sitka spruce tips, responsibly sourced Alaska seafood, an indoor aeroponic farm, and a team still experimenting after more than a century of brewing tradition.
Explore the story →The beer that built BrewCo
The flagship ale and the beer most closely associated with Skagway Brewing Company, brewed with young local Sitka spruce tips for bright citrus character and a smooth finish.
Young Sitka spruce tips are harvested in spring and preserved for year-round brewing, creating a bright citrus character instead of the heavy pine note many people expect from spruce beer.

The brewery captures CO₂ from brewing for the indoor farm, grows fresh produce year-round, and has used recycled fryer oil in a biodiesel system supporting brewery steam and building heat.
